Ever wondered how certain places designed with the right elements at the right place. A hotel with a look and feel of a palace or hospital with a feel of a resort. Everything is harmonious only when the right elements are placed in the right settings. A theme or concept is an idea waiting to be implemented physically.

It is very important to keep in mind the person or people going to use that space before choosing the theme. Every year there is always a universal theme and this year the theme for interior design is maximalism. Doesn’t mean every place is designed in that theme. Imagine a hospital with pink walls, rich fabric and textures. There are a few points to keep in mind while designing any space be it in any theme.

Cosiness: Lightroom dividers, reading nooks, small spaces for different tasks, united in one open interior with zones are design trends that improve contemporary homes and offices. Decorating all small areas and mastering micro-zones fill homes and offices with luxurious and trendy comfort.

Modern colour palette: Design trends 2018 blend green and brown colour shades with secondary blue, white, black, dark red, soft orange, deep yellow, white hues, grey colour tones, terra-cotta, dark purplish red and wine colours.
