The Pearl was designed by A B Akshaya and Aishwarya N, students of BSc. in Fashion and Apparel Design at JD School of Design powered by JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Bengaluru of JD Design Awards 2023. The collection was inspired by Princess Diana’s sophisticated and elegant style. It features semi-formal eveningwear targeted towards the upper-class segment of the market. The age group targeted was from 20 to 30 years old, and the collection will be marketed internationally. Primarily focusing on semi-formal evening wear it aims to cater to the upper-class segment of the market. The garments exude a sense of refinement and glamour, making it ideal for special occasions and upscale events. Targeting individuals aged 20 to 30 years old, the clothing will appeal to a younger demographic while maintaining the sophistication associated with the Princess’s style.
