Lasin Basheer has pursued his MSc in Interior Design from JD School of Design. The aspiring designer presented Tharavad at JD Design Awards that paid tribute to Benny Kuriakose. The project is based in Hyderabad and the client belongs to Kerala. The designer has curated a farmhouse with a traditional courtyard and has used antique furniture as well as other design elements.

Tharavad received the Best Furniture Design Award from the JD Design Awards.
