On December 4th, students of JD Institute of Fashion Technology Cochin organized a street fashion show at the Flea Market-Christmas Carnival in collaboration with All Things Bright, Kaloor International Stadium.
All things bright is an open platform that includes fun, art, music, events, and flea for budding entrepreneurs and artists to gather and connect while showcasing their Merchandise, products,or services on this christmas carnival students of jd institute of fashion technology had a great opportunity to showcase a street style fashion show where the students stylised the ready made garments in a complete street style. The models for the fashion show were none other than our jediiian from jd institute cochin, who displayed their modeling skills and made their debut in pursuing a career in line.
The ready-made garments that made their way to the runway, whereas the garments used here were all trendy outfits like ribbed full sleeve turtle neck crop top, flared denim, oversized tee shirts, jacket paired with black cargo pants, mini skirt, printed shirts and to emphasize the garments the students accessorized it with slinger bags, gloves, boots, converse shoes, cool shades , caps, stockings and silver chains and earrings. Street style Fashion is a comprehensive approach to fashion that includes styles that intersect, differ from mainstream fashion considerations, and are based on individualism rather than strictly focusing on current fashion trends.
Mr. Shehin Rajan, a jd cochin alumnus and show choreographer, got the students’ energy pack walk for the performance. This brought a bygone era back to the ramp, and audiences everywhere enjoyed watching the young students hit it with style and attitude.
Both Adam Lights Photography and Mr. Jineesh Mathew, who later shot the students, provided us with excellent support.
The Jd Institute of Fashion Technology Cochin’s enthusiastic students put forth a tremendous amount of effort, which helped make the fashion show at the flea market a great success.
The support of our faculty members and the staff at Flea Market Kochi helped make this event possible, and we are grateful to all the students who seized the initiative and persevered in making it what it was. The students at JD Institute Cochin are always kept engaged and motivated by giving them the chance to take part in various activities that expose them to the fashion and design industries and help pave the way for their future careers and professional lives. The institute offers a variety of courses that come together to give potential students knowledge, useful skills, and a hands-on understanding of how the industry functions. Their bachelor’s degree and a Diploma course in Fashion Design is an educational approach of research methods that keeps them upskilled in accordance with the fashion industry’s demands and requirements.
