Skyla Stephen Paul is a student of Diploma in Fashion Design (JDI Goa), she created a collection called Snow White – A Modern Couture and it was very impressive. reimagining Snow white for futuristic setting, the aim is to present her in a range of morden, fashionable attire that accentuates her beauty and elegance.
these are fictional insects which are chosen to present ingarment insects are Electric firefly,Butterfly,Bio inspired bees, caterpillar, spider, mantis, beetle, fly,scorpion. Design the wire sculptures to be worn over solidcoloured and structured garments, enhancing the overalllook. Material Selection: suitable materialsfor the wire sculptures is aluminium wire where the thicknessof the wire will be around 12 to 14 gauge.and for the garment will be used lachka fabric will be use forthe crisp and steady effect.

Inspired by Snow white and the seven dwarfs 1937 film the concept reimagines Snow White with a modern twist. This collection is intricately aligned with the theme of future fiction by reimagining Snow White’s character within a futuristic setting while staying true to the essence of the original narrative. Expanding the color palette to include red, royal blue, yellow, white, and dark purple adds depth and richness to Snow White’s wardrobe. This collection falls under the category of “High Fashion” or “Haute Couture” for the Fall/Winter season.

Through the use of modern and avant-garde fabrics like satin, organza, and net, combined with contemporary embellishments such as beads, rhinestones, and lace, the designs capture the essence of futuristic elegance. By breathing new life into the character while celebrating innovation and creativity, this collection successfully merges the timeless charm of Snow White with the cutting-edge aesthetics of the future, making it a perfect fit for the future fiction theme.
