Silenced Pirouette is Designed by Niveditha Uday, student of Diploma in Fashion Design at JD Institute Of Fashion Technology Cochin, for JD Design Awards 2023. Inspired by Tchaikovsky’s iconic Swan Lake, Silenced Pirouette is an avant-garde collection that focuses on the Black Swan- blunt, chaotic, and self destructive yet captivatingly seductive and elegant. Through fluid lines, rough textures and a touch of drama, this Autumn Winter 23/24 collection celebrates the enchanting darkness of this ballet and the transformative power it holds. Each garment is meticulously crafted to enhance movement, embody the essence of theatrics and ignite a sense of whimsy in the wearer.

The young fashion designers were awarded for The Best Concept
