The Gattu Shanker inspired clothing collection will be developed using block printing and basic hand embroidery techniques, with the help of the inmates of Amma Nana Anadha Ashram in Hyderabad. The collection aims to pay tribute to Gattu Shanker’s legacy as a social welfare activist and to promote the skills of the ashram residents. The design will be focused on simple, comfortable garments that reflect the ethos of the ashram, while the scribbling done by the ashram residents adds a personal touch to each garment.The result will be a collection of unique and socially conscious clothing that honors Gattu Shanker’s legacy and promotes the skills of the residents of Amma Nana Anadha Ashram.
