Resilience Reflections, an athleisure wear collection designed by Maheshwary K P, Soorya K and Dhanya K, students of Diploma in Fashion Design June 2022 at JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Bengaluru for JD Design Awards 2023. The collection paid tribute to Dutee Chand, an accomplished Indian sprinter and an inspiring figure in the world of athletics.

The sportswoman has overcome numerous challenges and barriers to become an icon of perseverance, determination, and passion in the sports world. The athleisure wear collection aims to capture her resilience, strength, and dedication while empowering individuals to feel confident and comfortable in their bodies. 

The garments are fashionable and functional unisex athleisure wear. The target audience for this collection are young adults. These consumers prioritize comfort and style in their clothing. The young designers created a set of 10 garments representing 5 stages of the life of Dutee Chand. Each set consisted of prints of patterns and quotes made with the use of heat vinyl transfer and reflectors. The intent of the designers was to make their customers feel confident and comfortable while wearing their clothing, whether they were running, doing errands, hitting the gym, or meeting friends for coffee.
