Reminisce was designed by Herakshi V R and Kanish Raj, students of BSc. in Fashion and Apparel Design at JD School of Design powered by JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Bengaluru for JD Design Awards 2023. The exquisite fashion collection is inspired by the iconic singer, composer and record producer – Bappi Lahiri, renowned for his flamboyant style and unique persona. This extraordinary collection was crafted with meticulous attention to detail, utilizing a rich palette of luxurious fabrics including velvet, silk satin, net, cotton, and suiting lycra. Each garment was a work of art, lovingly hand-embroidered with intricate motifs and designs that seamlessly blend Indian heritage with a touch of modern sophistication. The embodiment of elegance and refinement, this collection exudes a tone of unparalleled sophistication. The opulent velvet drapes gracefully, bestowing regal air upon every silhouette. The smooth silk satin exudes an ethereal allure, flowing effortlessly with each movement. Delicate net embraces the body adding a sense of sensuality and grace.
