Rebel Runway was designed by Priyanka R Mutreja and Manasa Amarnath, students of BSc. in Fashion and Apparel Design at JD School of Design powered by JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Bengaluru for JD Design Awards 2023. The collection paid tribute to the fictional character named Cruella.

The Cruella-inspired collection aims to capture the essence of the iconic character from the movie ‘Cruella.’ The collection will showcase a fusion of punk rock rebellion and high fashion, incorporating a mix of dark and edgy elements with bold and unconventional designs. This collection is intended for individuals who embrace their unique style and appreciate the power of self-expression.

The collection is duality and transformation. It explores the journey from innocence to rebellion, showcasing the protagonist’s evolution from Estella to Cruella. The collection will emphasize contrasting elements, such as black and white, light and dark, and classic elegance paired with punk-inspired details.
