Rajinikanth Café, is a project by S. Nandha Kumar and Ranjith Kumar N students of Diploma in Interior Design February 2022 at JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Bengaluru for JD Design Awards 2023. They conceptualised a café which paid tribute to renowned actor Rajinikanth. To create the space, the designers envisioned upgrading a scrapped double-decker bus by renovating it with interior creative design, folding furniture, and sustainable materials. The theme of their restaurant stems from Rajinikanth’s professional evolution from a bus conductor to a famous actor.
