Quintessence is a collection that paid tribute to Cleopatra who was feminist, well educated, polyglot, a good ruler, and used to dress according to the native.. The collection was presented at JD Design Awards by Yeshwanth Dodda who has pursued his Diploma in Fashion Design (Weekend Batch) from JD Institute of Fashion Technology. Cleopatra became an Egyptian icon and people called her ‘Philopatris’ (patriot). She remains an icon not just for her beauty, but for her intellect, agility, and diplomacy, which continues to inspire women even in the 21st century. This couture collection combines a few elements from Egyptian/Greek fashion showing feminism, power, boldness and freedom. 

Quintessence  received the Best Design Collection Award from JD Design Awards 2023.
