Round beds have been a part of interior design and furniture industries for a long time now. The pros and cons of choosing round beds come with an underlying statement of perception and opinion.
Round beds need no definition. It is pretty much self-explanatory. Round beds are round in shape and function just every other bed like king-size or twin bed. Round beds are assumed to be expensive, useless and even cost-effective by people. There’s little clarity available regarding round beds and in this blog, we are going to discuss the pros and cons briefly:
PROS
1. Stylish: What makes round beds soar with popularity in the field of interior design is that they are remarkably stylish. Apart from the originality that round beds offer, they accentuate the look and feel of the room altogether to unassuming luxury.
2. Secure: Believe it or not, some psychologists opine that round beds, as opposed to other types of beds, make the users feel more secure. Although the reasons for the same are unclear, it is still worth a point to keep in mind while making a bed purchase.
3. Lesser injury risk: The chances of accidentally hitting against the edges or corners of the beds are seemingly less as round beds have no edges or corners, to begin with.
CONS
1. Loss of space: A major disadvantage of having round beds is the loss of space. Round beds are typically suitable for alone sleepers. However, add one more person to the bed and you will see that the bed becomes extremely uncomfortable with legs probably hanging over the bed in the room.
2. Buying sheets is a task: Imagine having to buy round bed sheets for your fancy bed. Not to mention, buy round bed sheets is not as affordable as you may think. These sheets as opposed to rectangle bed sheets are expensive.
