Prism Lights | Store Visit for Interior Design Students

Lighting is one of the important aspects when it comes to interior designing.  It is a feature that sets up the tone and mood of any space; hence it becomes necessary to choose a perfect lighting set-up which perfectly suits the purpose. As a part of their MATERIAL SURVEY & SERVICES module, the Diploma in Interior Design students visited Prism Lights on January 24th.

During this visit, students witnessed varieties of designs, different lightings, and fixtures. They came across a few facts such as how fixtures influence the lighting conditions? And also why residential lighting uses incandescent lamps? Residential lights often depend on movable fixtures that are plugged into outlets.

Visit to the showroom was an experience in itself for the students. They got the look and feel of each type of lighting, such as spot light, underwater light, street light, cove light, strip light, pendant light, and chandeliers. Indeed, it was a good learning experience for them to understand lighting and its installation method in detail.
