Nanda Raveendran paid tribute to a movie character Hachiko through his project Pet Aura at JD Design Awards. Nanda has pursued his MSc in Interior Design from JD School of Design. Hachiko is a legendary Akita dog from Japan who became famous for his remarkable loyalty to his owner. The designer has focused on building a multifunctional space where pets and their owners find all their needs under one roof. In order to draw the attention of the customers, the designer has considered adding a window display and a photo booth area with wooden cladding and a green wall. This pet essentials center includes spaces like grooming area, consultation room, medical dispensary, waiting area and pet essential displays.
