Nyishi is a traditional textile, keeping with the tradition and culture of Arunachal Pradesh in India, traditionally woven by members of the Nyishi tribe. The rich cultural values and skills that are present in its thread tell the stories of heritage and community identification. Inhabitants of hilly parts of Arunachal Pradesh, people of the Nyishi tribe have an age-old tradition of weaving special fabrics like cotton and wool into place.
