New Year is not complete without revamping our makeup collections. This January 2022 there are not just new makeup collections being launched, but also new makeup brands in itself. Despite being amidst an on-going pandemic, the beauty industry is still going strong. Infact, the industry has thrived in its own way, as influencers and various makeup artists have showcased their work, and experimental makeup skills that made a mark on many social media users to try their hand in makeup as well. This positive response has kept the makeup industry motivated to try their hands in new formulas and color palettes. Hence, this year there are new products that will tingle every makeup enthusiast, and here’s that list:

I Heart Revolution x Disney Princess Mulan Collection

Who doesn’t love a Disney collaboration? The I Heart Revolution is well known for their works with Disney princesses. Though every princess has their own place in our hearts, the strong independent women have an even special place. As they teach the young ladies how important it is for women of today’s day and age, to stand on their own feet and make their mark among many. The upcoming I Heart Revolution x Disney collection is also inspired from one such princess. An Asian princess who fights against all odds to showcase that both men and women are capable of physical and mental strength. Mulan, although not from a royal background, is considered as a Disney princess for her courage and responsibility that she takes for her family. The features that are being incorporated into the I Heart Revolution x Disney Fairytale collection is a Palette Mulan, and I Heart Revolution x Disney Fairytale Lip Topper Mulan and an I Heart Revolution x Disney Fairytale setting powder Mulan. The palette is an all-in-one face and eye palette that features poppy and neutral shades for the buyers preferences. From the packaging, upto the name of each and every product is inspired from the Disney Classic, Mulan.

Tom Ford’s Bitter Peach Makeup Collection 

90% of the population across the globe, whether they wear full face makeup or no makeup, will have heard off Tom Ford, Tom Ford’s collections have always been ones to admire and indulge in, from their mini lipsticks to smooth foundations. This year, their 2022 collection is taking the whole brand to a whole new level by extending their Bitter Sweet Perfume, into a whole makeup collection, which was admired and favourtized by many. Their Bitter Sweet Makeup collection includes a Bitter Peach Eye Colour quad, a compact cushion case (that is refillable) along with Matte Lip Colours. The branding on their packaging is prominent with an accentuating orange colour with red detailings that stay true to its name.

NARS’ Limited Edition Afterglow Cheek and Lip Shine 

The release in 2022 by NARS cosmetics took the makeup enthusiasts off their feet. The Afterglow Collection consists of a cheek palette and lip shine, where the cheek palette has six buildable shades with shimmers as well as mattes that will result in a natural flush and glow on the skin that gives justice to its name. The lip shine comes in ten shades and applies on smoothly, hydrating the lips. The formula of the lip shine is a blend of the Jojoba Oil and Pomegranate extract that is infused with Vitamin E -infused Raspberry Seed Oil which helps in keeping the lips soft and smooth.

Morphe’s 35T Sweetest Tea Artistry Palette 

A makeup brand that is known widely for it’s eyeshadow palette collections that come with the best shades that most makeup enthusiasts dream off. Their 2022 feature release of 35T Sweetest Tea Artistry Palette consists of the yummiest shades that can result in the best creative looks. The palette consists of 35 mega matte shades and gorgeous shimmers that can be used to create various looks, ranging from neutrals to glam. A palette that is a mixture of both warm and cool tones that result in a versatile look.

Chanel de Cométe Spring 2022 Collection

The N°1 De Chanel is not only a beauty release in 2022 but also an entire collection of Chanel de Cométe Spring Collection. In this line, there are two shades of blush and eight limited-edition matte lipsticks with ultra-fine pearly pigments. Inspired by the Symbol of Luck, this range points out at five irregularities which was also the inspiration for Coco Chanel’s first and only High Jewellery Collection. Creating an optical illusion, the Blush Cométe, is one where the comet design can be see on the surface of the powder and the Chanel monogram on the mirror of the compact. The packaging on the lipsticks also contain stars on the bullet design.

Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Foundation

It’s hardly been a month since 2022, yet we have seen so many eyeshadow palettes, lipsticks and blushes as a part of the beauty releases from Charlotte Tilbury, now we look forward to their foundation that’s coming in stock too. Their beautiful foundation collection for the perfect skin is launching in 30 shades. Branched as a hybrid between a face tint moisturizer and a full coverage foundation, it is said to give an instant glow that not only hydrates the skin, but also has the property for a buildable coverage. The product is formulated with skincare ingredients lik Hyaluronic acid and Rose COmplex, the foundation is promised to keep the skin hydrated, plumpier and brighter compared to all other foundation brands released so far in the makeup industry and available in the beauty market,

Dior Spring 2022 Collection 

Dior’s Spring 2022 beauty release collection consists of eyeshadows, lip products blush, cuion powder, and nail polishes. The eyeshadow palette called ‘3 Couleurs Tri(O)blique’, offers a triad of color finishes – Glittery, metallic and satin, available in two shades. The range of lip products include a lip glow lip balm which is available in 3 shades with multiple purposes such as it can be used as slip balm or even a lip primer. The Rouge Dior is a long wearing lipstick available in 73 shades and Dior Addict Lip Maximiser is a lip plumping gloss available in 21 shades. The blush comes in a stick named ‘Stick Glow’ available in two shades. The Dior Nail polish, ‘Vernis Nail Polish’ comes in 19 stunning shades, each shade made for various occasions and moods, ranging from deep to neutrals.

Maybelline Green Edition Collection

The Green Edition Collection by Maybelline that was released in 2022 features three products one of which is Maybelline’s first ever vegan product  that features all natural-origin ingredients. The collection includes a Green Edition Superdrop Tinted Oil, Green Edition Balmy Lip Blush and a Green Edition Mega Mousse Mascara. Maybelline Green Edition collection is the first beauty collection in the market to be certified by Cradle to Cradle.

M.A.C x Whitney Houston Collection 

Two of the most famous names in their respective career lines collaborating is a dream come true. The M.A.C makeup brand is one of the most famous and preferred brands by makeup artists and enthusiasts. As we all have heard of the popular singer, Whitney Huston who has marked her name in the Music Industry for the longest period. She is also a fashion icon, whose sense of styling has swept and inspired many artists across the globe. This 2022, M.A.C pays homage to the singer with her. As the release of her biopic ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’ , this year the cosmetic line will launch their collection, which we can expect to be classy and iconic considering the brand and the star involved in this project.

New Year makeup launches are always exciting. To wait for the new ideas, new shades, new colors, adn new products to experiment various techniques in makeup.
