The “Navrang” collection is inspired by the lively traditions of Navratri, specifically the nine shades that represent each day of the festival. These colors, yellow, green, grey, orange, white, red, royal, pink and purple, reflect many aspects of Navratri celebrations and have deep cultural significance. Inspired by the epic story of Krishna Raas Leela, the collection combines spiritual motifs with contemporary design elements to create outfits that are both traditional and contemporary.

Garba, a violent dance usually performed during the full moon, has become an international phenomenon with participants from all over the world. Navrang apparel reflects this global appeal by fusing traditional Gujarati designs with supportive fabrics and stunning embroidery. This fusion not only enhances comfort and durability, but it also shows the many cultural expressions of Garba dancers worldwide.

“Navrang” aims to promote cultural diversity and harmony by transforming Garba into a prestigious cultural hub that welcomes people from diverse origins to enjoy its beauty.

Cities like Ahmedabad and Vadodara turn into vibrant spectacles during Navratri, with dancers dressed in beautifully designed Cholis, Chaniyas and Kediyus moving in time to the rhythmic beats of Garba. This collection not only celebrates the traditions, but also anticipates the eventual recognition of Garba as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, underscoring its global importance.

Fabric choices such as cotton, chiffon and silk provide breathability and mobility, essential for the energetic Garba dance. Each garment is embellished with traditional Gujarati embroidery, mirrors and tassels, creating a visual feast that captures the joyful spirit of Navratri. Accessories like turbans, kamarband and intricate jewelery complete the ensemble and add to the cultural authenticity and festive atmosphere of Navrangi. Designed for men, women and children of all ages who appreciate different cultural experiences. As Garba continues to fascinate people across the globe, ‘Navrang’ is a testament to the enduring spirit of cultural exchange and vibrant tradition that characterizes Navratri.
