The Tripod is a three legged accessory primarily used to hold a camera completely steady with no movement and vibration. There are many brands, styles and variations available. Tripods are very essential especially in Landscape Photography, as wide angle lenses are used. It is also used for Panoramas, HDR Photography, and Astrophotography for ultra-sharp exposure.
Full size Tripod
Full Size Tripod is a tall main tripod, usually kept at the eye level and used specially for landscape shots and night shots. It makes sure there is no movement during long exposures for HDR and panoramic stitching. The tripod can also be set up in indoor studios for portraits or flat lays. But as it is heavy and large to carry around, it is desirable for Photographers to carry a lighter tripod mostly for shooting locations.
Travel Tripod
Travel Tripod is the best option for carrying it around when one is travelling. As a normal tripod is bulky, it tempts us to leave behind when travelling. Tabletop Tripod, as the name suggests it is an ideal tripod for the tabletop. It is usually used to capture images of Art, Food or any flat lays. This is apt when we need an even smaller tripod option and has no leg extensions at all. It is usually adjusted with a simple ball head present as the tripod legs. This is the most purchased tripod, as it is used everywhere now in the current scenario of the Pandemic.
