JD Institute of Fashion Technology has always believed in providing quality education and global exposure to its students. As a part of the initiative taken by JD, students have been given an opportunity to travel across world’s Fashion capital cities to gain rich international experience in their respective art and design field.
JD Imagination Journey London-Scotland was a 21 days’ educational trip which the students started from JD Bangalore in the month of January 2019. Budding Fashion and Styling aspirants came together to visit London and Scotland and got experience in the field of styling.

Kerry Panaggio and Nada da Hab were the tutors behind the vital student training and had extended immense support thought the program.
The aspiring stylists got tremendous exposure in fashion media styling. Students were taught commercial and editorial aspects of styling. They were given a hands-on experience in styling through various class individual and group activities. Students were also sent out for sourcing through which they understood London Markets and brands better. In the end, they were assigned a photo-shoot and were given an opportunity to develop their individual styling portfolio in London.
Apart from the curricular activities, they explored the city as well. Students were taken to various Art and Design Museums, fashion related and historical icon places. They covered placed like The Design Museum, The National Gallery, Victoria & Albert Museum, Harrods, Bricklane Market, Camden Market, Tower Bridge, London Eye, Madame Tussauds etc. Students were excited to experience the River Cruise on river Thames as well. The journey was quiet an experience and students were very happy about it in the end.
