I am Srishti Shreekrishna and if I have to describe my JD Imagination Journey, it was eventful. At Conde Nast College of Fashion and Design, I learnt a lot about styling. It was a wholesomne learning opportunity that exposed me to the various cultures of the world.
The rigorous training transformed us from fashion enthusiasts to stylists. For the street photography, I chose the style of a dutch girl in a denim dress that she had styled with gold jewellery and a pair of glasses along with black boots that looked classy.
The illustration project was one of a kind. I chose a print as my inspiration that I saw in the V&A exhibition. I made a waistcoat with the same print and paired it with some baggy pants and bold lips.
The fashion styling shoot tested my understanding as a designer. I chose the classics like white shirt and a Little Black Dress. I wrapped the white shirt around the model and created a Fashion shoot tested my bow out of it. To bring an edginess to the entire look, sleeves of the shirt were used as stockings. Keeping the focus on the attire, makeup was very neutral with hair gelled backwards and clipped. My look was a toned down ode to the ever classic, Audrey Hepburn.
Flat Lay Styling gave a new experience where I got to play around with multiple ideas. To get the perfect shot | flipped a chair upside down and placed the bag like it was trapped inside. The picture came out to be perfect giving a fresh and vibrant look to the bag.
