I am Nikita Nahar and I am going to give a walk through of the learnings from JD Imagination Journey. I received the chance to work on a fun assignment where I had to do street photography. I clicked the style of a Chinese woman who was dressed in a monochromatic outfit that looked perfect with a quirky background. I took inspiration from a minimalistic print of V&A museum. I used the print to illustrate a party attire and finished my illustration with a bold look.
For the fashion styling shoot, I worked on the style; Dark Academia, where I paired grey and black. I chose a sheer black bodysuit and layered it with a grey long trench coat. I styled it with another layer of grey and black patterned muffler which was put together with a black belt. I also added accessories like black shades, gloves, stockings, block heeled boots and completed the look with minimal make-up.
Flat lay styling helped me in understanding the various ways in which a product can be highlighted. To get a perfect shot of a bag inside a bag, I used a pink envelope. I also placed a perfume which looked complimentary to the rich elegance of the bag. Curling the strap of the sling bag l got the perfect shot.
