I am Chanchal Jodhani and my JD Imagination Journey is enveloped with good vibes, intense learning and understanding the culture from a broader lens. During the global programme I received the chance to embark on the journey of street photography where I captured the style of a girl who was dressed in an overcoat paired with white top and torn jeans. Her yellow sling bag accentuated the whole look.
For the illustration project, the Alphadi design caught my attention at V&A Museum. I used a colourful little dress to portray the metal armour, which symbolises the woman as a warrior.
The fashion styling shoot was the best experience. I took a cue from Marilyn Munroe for my look. To display a chic and provocative style, I opted for a bodysuit and a pair of boots. I also added vintage-styled spectacles with a pearl bracelet.
I chose a floral bag and paired it with a textured ceramic glass for the flat lay shoot. To bring out the print and the geometric perfection of the bag, I experimented with the angle.
