Kinaara is a project by N Suman and Shruti Rathi, students of Diploma in Interior Design August 2022 at JD Institute of Fashion Technology for JD Design Awards 2023. The work presents a recreational centre concept which provides special care and activities to cancer patients and survivors. It also offers physical, emotional, social, and spiritual support for patients and their families. The young interior designers have used the idea of adaptive reuse of an existing building called ‘Karunashraya,’ Bangalore and used the auditorium section for their project. The aim is to help the patients to feel and travel a world inside a world.

The young interior designers won the Best Furniture Design.
