JD Institute of Fashion Technology India, one of the premiere Institute of Art and Design is awarded the Global League Institute by GPTS (Great place to study). The Award was presented at the 5^th Global league Institute Certification ceremony at the prestigious House of Commons, London on June 17^th 2019.

GPTS (Great Place to Study) is the Leading International education auditing and recognition platform that certifies and affiliates colleges who have contributed significantly in the field of the quality education with a core focus on student satisfactory survey and review. The prestigious gathering was conducted by Baroness Sandip Verma, an Indian-English politician and member of House of Lords (Parliament of UK). The event honored 60 Indian schools and universities and JD Institute was proud to be one of them.

The Survey commenced months prior based on their learning experience, learning objectives, learning outcomes, life on campus and their happiness quotient at the Institute. We were glad to see the survey fulfilling with a 90 % strength from the student body.

Mr Nealesh Chandraakant Dalal, the Managing Trustee, JD Education Trust received the GLI Award Certificate from Shekhar Bhattacharjee (CEO, GPTS). At the felicitation ceremony, he said,” I am deeply honored to be here to accept this award. It is a tribute to our commitment to design education in the county. JD Institute started in the year 1988, is one of the oldest design school in India. Our mission was and is to create a hub for the design aspirants in India. At JD Institute of Fashion Technology, we strive hard to break the stereotypes and design for a purpose. We constantly Aspire, inspire and encourage our students to follow the values which JD stands for i.e Innovation and Sustainability. Our students are moulded to be designers who can bring change to the world. It’s such a pride receiving this award since it’s an award decided by the students who spoke through the survey”.
