JD GOT TALENT | JD Institute

We all have remarkable talents that are unique to us, and there needs to be a time to celebrate those talents. On the auspicious day of Republic day, JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Bangalore held its annual cultural event – JD GOT TALENT at The Hotel Ajanta. Students from all the departments (Fashion Design, Interior Design, and Jewelry Design) participated enthusiastically in this event and displayed their talents magnificently.

The event began on a solemn note with the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries who were also the judges for the competition, Ms. Sandra Agnes (Director of JD Institute South), Mr. Babu Rajendra Prasad (Principal), Ms. Anusha (Head of Marketing), Mr. Pramod Adhikari (Mentor), and Mr. Kishore Ramachandra (Head of Photography Department).

The show kick-started with a classical dance performance by the girls from B.sc in Fashion and Apparel Design, followed by the students had displayed their talent in the form of music, art, and dance and also through some exclusive events like rangoli and fireless cooking.

One of the highlights of the day was a soulful performance by Harsh from the Fashion Department. The audiences were bubbling with excitement and enthusiasm in anticipation of their peers taking to stage.

Amidst the buzz of the competition that was happening, the vivacious faculties too shook a leg on some thumping numbers leaving the students asking for more. The event for which the staff and students came together to make an absolute success, came to a close with the announcement of winners across all categories of the competition. The management who were in awe of talent had assured more such events to follow giving everyone more opportunities.
