Inspired by the story of a mud muralist, Dimple Foflia and her passion for making mud murals, the designer was mesmerised by her work and passion. The designer says “The artist uses Gujarat’s traditional motifs with a bit of her innovation and has yet kept the traditional aspect alive, which is rarely found these days. I also like the amount of positive energy she puts in all of her works, and her determination to take this art forward.” The common things you can find in her collection are the 3D effects and mirror works highlighting the tradition of Gujarat and ‘Make In India’ concept. The artist’s goal is to take this art forward and she doesn’t want this art to become like any other art that is easily available.
