Prashanth Betal is an artisan inspired by betel leaf as it is naturally available at an affordable cost and has many properties. He has an innate passion for utilizing his skill and is keen on turning the betel leaf for functional purposes so that the next generation can use products made from betel life to achieve a chemical free and sustainable world. The product made by the designers’ is a partition board made from Areca leaf which is their key element. The artisan’s inspiration for using a natural raw material invoked a sense of responsibility amongst the designers to create a product using a natural element which is easily available in the nature. The aim is to become a responsible citizen by making the surrounding chemical free.
