Artist Syed Owaiz is an eco friendly interior designer who plants 11 trees for every tree that’s been cut down for his products. He works with wood crafts and antique pieces manually without the use of machines. The products are exposed to machine only at the final stage and the artist uses his carving techniques to enhance the look. The various products made by the artist include greeting card, hookah pot, stands, small accessories out of fruits. Wood berry, is inspired by the artist’s work to design retail spaces. The designers say “One of the major elements we noticed was, usage of fluidic shapes in the products and thus we planned to incorporate it in our shape of building our product. We decided to make a space where the artisan displays his work and also gains business.” This piece of work is also inspired by the famous interior designer Zaha Hadid. Marbles and granite with white and gray colors are used along with wood for the display of products.
