Idukki Carousel is a design Showcased by Anitta Sunny, student of MSc. in Interior Design at JD Institute Of Fashion Technology Cochin, for JD Design Awards 2023. Revolving interiors is an innovative concept that will transform the experience of staying in a resort cottage. By incorporating a base plate and motorized mechanisms, the entire interior of the cottage will be able to rotate a full 360 degrees within one hour. This dynamic feature offers guests the opportunity to continuously enjoy changing perspectives and views throughout their stay. The structural integrity of the building and the central core will remain stable. With this unique design, guests can personalize their surroundings of green hills, natural beauty, forests, tea plantations etc.and create a truly memorable and immersive experience during their time at the resort.
