Yes, we do have online registration where we provide the bank details. Students can pay online for admission as per the following steps:
Step 1: Apply online through the application
Step 2: Seek academic counsellor support
Step 3: Banking details will be provided
Step 4: Registration

A student must be good in communication and have an interest in learning design. They should be eager to work hard and master their chosen domain.

Students should have passed 10th+ 12th / PUC / intermediate / 3-year polytechnic diploma from Karnataka or any equivalent courses with an aggregate of 40% and above.

A student should have passed graduation with an aggregate of 40% and above to join the post graduate diploma courses.

A student should have passed 10th/ 12th/ Graduation with an aggregate of 40% and above to join the diploma courses.

• Conduct/character certificate
• Copy of Aadhar card
• Migration Certificate

Non-Karnataka Students
• 5 passport size photographs
• 10th and 12th standard original mark sheets
• Original transfer certificate
• 2 self-attested copies of the above mentioned certificate
• 2 SC/ST caste and income certificate (if the student belongs to any category)
• 2 OBC certificates (if the student belongs to OBC category)
• Conduct/character certificate
• Copy of Aadhar card
• Original Migration Certificate.

Foreign Students
• 5 passport size photographs
• 10th and 12th standard original mark sheets
• Original transfer certificate

• Parental and Origin Details
• Medical certificate

• Local address, Local guardian and house agreement details
• 2 Notary attested copies of the above mentioned certificate

We provide the required documents, where the student can apply for the educational loans through their respective banks, provided the student has taken admission by the paying registration amount.

We have accommodation support system with credible service providers. They will be directly connected to the students and students have multiple options to choose as per their compatibility.

We do assist our students with placement provided they have 85% attendance, completed projects and portfolio submissions, received the cut-off grades, finished their compulsory internships, and successfully participated in the JD Annual Design Awards.

We are affiliated to Bangalore University.

Yes, it is compulsory to participate in JD Annual Design Awards.

Yes, the fee is inclusive of GST.

We have collaborations with EQAC and Cumulus for our Diploma/ Post graduate diploma courses and with IIID for interior diplomas courses.

60% girls and 40% boys in fashion courses. 50% girls and 50% boys in interior courses.

We do not provide any books since we have a well-stocked library that students can use to make notes. Additional materials come at an extra cost to be borne by the student.

Yes, students should purchase makeup kits and cameras for their respective courses and also for their practical and personal purpose.

We do not have any age limits for our diploma and post graduate diploma courses. For the Bachelor degree, the applicant must be within 35 years.

• 100 seats for B. Sc
• 25 each for fashion and interior PG/ diploma courses.

We do have industrial visits where students will be taken to different industries according to their module requirements. Transport and food are to be borne by the students.

All students eligible for placements are 100% placed.

Yes, our course certificate is globally accepted.

We do not refund the course fees in any circumstances.

We do take our students for an international study tour for 22 days where they get a chance to intern with London College of Fashion and Chelsea School of Art. The tours happen on extra charges.

We have well qualified faculties with specializations in their respective fields with 7 plus years of experience.

Degree courses: 9:30 am to 5:30 pm (Mon-Fri)

Diploma courses: 9:30 am to 12:30 pm (Morning) 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm (Afternoon)

PG Diploma: 9:30 am to 12:30 pm (Mon-Fri)

PG Fashion Communication: 9:30 am to 5:00 pm (Mon-Fri)

ADFD: 9:30 am – 5:00 pm (Mon-Fri)

ADID: 9:30 am – 5:00 pm (Mon-Fri)

Photography: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm (3 days a week)

Make-up/Hair art: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm (Mon – Fri)

We do provide lateral entry for BSc in fashion for the students who have come up with a polytechnic diploma in ADFT (textiles/handlooms/leather technology) for Karnataka students only.
BSc ID – We do not provide lateral entry but we consider 3 year polytechnic diploma in civil engineering and architecture to be eligible from 1st year of the course.

No, we do not have an entrance examination since we consider the aggregate % of the marks in the previous educational qualification.

We have a Women Safety Cell, CCTV surveillance, security guards on each floor, and an anti- ragging committee that makes sure student are safe on campus.

The creative portal is one of our biggest innovations. It provides placement assistance to all the JD students by directly connecting them to prospective employers.
