Chandana is pursuing her Masters in Science from Fashion and Business Management from JD Institute of Fashion Technology. With a curiosity to learn and explore the international spaces, the designer by heart joined the global learning programme, JD Imagination journey that prepares the learners to receive industry exposure and learn fashion styling from the market experts.

She started her journey in a well researched manner. She attentively listened to the instructions given by the institute ahead of the journey and packed accordingly. “I read a lot about the places where we were headed to and learnt about the interesting stuff. Though I had read a lot about the places, witnessing them in real life with my own naked eyes was an experience of a lifetime”, said Chandana.

JD Imagination Journey was not only about learning the styling aesthetics but also took the learners through a learning curve. Disneyland, one of the most famous spots of the European nations, gave a whole new experience to the Jediians. Summarising it short, Chadana said, “During our JD Imagination Journey 2022 we visited Disneyland, Paris that opened my eyes about the design field. The management, the aesthetics and the entire space utilisation to accommodate the crowd of thousands is praiseworthy. The entire journey was awe-inspiring and though I had done an intense research, visiting those places made me realise how it is totally different from what we imagine”.

According to the fashion enthusiast, JD Imagination Journey has helped her in understanding her field better. She understood that styling is not only about putting the things together but about pairing the complimentary designs.

During the JD Imagination Journey, Chandana also honed her other skills like flat-lay photography and illustration. Be it the presentations or the intensive training courses, JD Imagination Journey helped Chandana B H understand the market psychology and the world trend.
