Elysian was designed by Chanchal Jodhani, Chetana Sethia and Praneetha Chowdary, students of MSc. in Fashion Design and Management at JD School of Design, Bengaluru for JD Design Awards 2023. The SS’23 ready-to-wear collection pays homage to the timeless magic and enchantment bought to life by Walt Disney. It aims to capture the essence of Disney princesses. The designs are infused with a sense of nostalgia, while also appealing to contemporary fashion designs that can be worn to a soiree. The silhouettes in the collection are a combination of flowy and ethereal designs along with structured and elegant pieces for a more refined look evoking a sense of wonder and fantasy.
