The “Dark Allure” series is inspired by the story of Medusa from Greek mythology. Medusa was considered a gorgon, a monster with snakes for hair. Unlike the other Gorgons, Medusa was sometimes depicted as attractive. She was the only mortal Gorgon; therefore, Perseus was able to kill him by cutting off his head. His two sons, Chrysaor and Pegasus, were born from the blood that gushed from his neck. Medusa’s story is one of transition, from Athenian temple maiden to hideous monster.
The colors of black and gold in “Dark Allure” symbolize the two sides of Medusa’s story. Black represents death, sadness and darkness, reflecting Medusa’s curse and her life as a feared monster. On the other hand, gold represents generosity, mercy, divinity and power, representing the transformation of Medusa and the power she embodies. This collection aims to capture the essence of Medusa Aluminum by presenting garments that emphasize confidence, strength, grace and courage.

In a future fictitious novel set centuries after the mythology of Medusa, a petrified crystal in the shape of Medusa’s head is discovered in a little village. The locals worship this crystal, believing that it bestows courage and strength. They build a temple around it where they pray and sing praises. One day during prayer time, the crystal begins to crack and Medusa appears. He was no longer feared as a monster, but worshiped as a symbol of positivity, strength and courage.
“Dark Allure” brings this powerful history to life with its choice of fabrics and colors. The collection uses luxurious fabrics such as silk and cotton blends, glass paper and satin. These materials add elegance and sophistication to clothes. The curtains feature resin glass stones, crystal beads and aluminum metal for serpentine details, adding a unique and bold element to the design. The collection is dominated by black and various shades of gold, creating a striking contrast that reflects the story of Medusa.
