D7 Bike Showroom, is a bike showroom conceptualized by Balraj Jadhav and Roshan R, students of Diploma in Interior Design March 2022 at JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Bengaluru for JD Design Awards 2023. The designers through their project paid tribute to cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The colours incorporated in their work included Dhoni’s team colours – hues of blue and yellow which represented the Indian cricket team and Chennai Super Kings, respectively. The showroom highlighted the cricket icon’s illustrious career, leadership, and iconic moments. The showroom included focused lighting to drive limelight on specific bikes, memorabilia, or displays. They wanted to create a cozy and welcoming atmosphere using warm-toned lighting to enhance the overall experience. The space also included strategically placed screens to play Dhoni’s career highlights, interviews, and motivational speeches.

The aspiring interior designers won the Best Sustainable Design.
