Captured Moments, Curated Visions | JD Annual Design Awards 2019 |Photography Exhibition

JD Institute of Fashion Technology believes in celebration of Design and Innovation and provides a platform for the aspirants to tap their creative skills and bring something new to the world. At the recently concluded, JD Annual Design Awards 2019, the Photography Department students exhibited their masterworks in the form of the digital display at the Lalit Ashok, Bangalore.

The theme for this years was Curator. The dictionary meaning of the term is a keeper and a custodian of a museum, Whereas, the modern definition is someone who takes care of something enough to study it, collect it, improve it significantly and communicate it interestingly before the audience. True to the theme, the Diploma in Photography students captured various subjects such as still life, nature, fashion and conceptual aspects of photography.

The exhibition was graced by Mr. Sudhir Ramachandran, a renowned photographer and the Winner of New York Gold for fashion photography along with Mr. ShibuArrakal, who is a Gold medalist in Digital Art. Apart from that, we had eminent experts of the field; Senthil Kumar, G Kumaran, Kiran Aditya who appreciated and applauded the students for their imaginative creations.
