Harry Potter is one of the most successful and beloved franchises in literature and film, with a massive global fan base. The franchise has had a profound impact on multiple generations, evoking feelings of nostalgia and emotional attachment. The fashion collection – Beyond the Cloak taps into this emotional connection, allowing fans to express their love for the series through fashion. From the classic Hogwarts uniforms to the distinctive house colours, magical symbols, and fantastic creatures, there are countless design elements that has been incorporated into our fashion collection. This versatility allows for creativity and customisation, appealing to a wide range of tastes and styles. Harry Potter revolves around the theme of thrill, love, friendship, adventure, fantasy, and suspense. We chose to include these characteristics into our collection. Our goal is to create a collection that accurately reflects Harry Potter and transports Potter heads back to the world of Hogwarts. This franchise has become a religion for millennials and Generation Z. The fashion designers made a collection keeping in mind these target audiences, and for the autumn winter season which focuses on the colours of the four Hogwarts houses – Gryffindor(red), Hufflepuff (yellow), Ravenclaw(blue), Slytherin (Green). In our collection we offer a diverse range of silhouettes and styles which blends contemporary fashion trends with classic inspired designs including unisex pieces using plaid fabrics and different accessories to create a unique collection and to appeal to a broader audience.
The collection won the Best Fiction Adaptation Collection Award.
