Baronett Pwerus is a collection based on power dressing adopted by most women today. Women of today believe that clothing is a way of expression. The collection has derived inspiration from the Maroon Art Group in Africa. The inspiration descended into Innovation and innovation was introduced by creating a new fabric out of dupion silk and organic cotton yarn with patterns that symbolise emancipated women. A unique amalgamation of African fabric kente with Indian work of kantha embroidery gives the collection the contemporary twist which is exemplary for the evolved and empowered women. The collection is presented by Rakshita TR from the B.Sc Batch.
