Anavrin was a concept to revamp Cafe Coffee Day that was presented at JD Design Awards 2023. It was curated by Soudhamini K Y who has pursued her MSc in Interior Design from JD School of Design. The project aimed to capture the essence of V G Siddarth Hegde’s entrepreneurial spirit, passion for coffee, and the welcoming ambiance he created in his cafes. Inspired by his legacy, the designer carefully curated the interior design, incorporating elements that reflected his journey and the warm and inviting atmosphere he envisioned for his cafes. The space features a harmonious blend of modern aesthetics, cozy seating arrangements, and vibrant artwork, creating an inviting environment where coffee enthusiasts can gather, connect, and enjoy their favorite brew. Through this project, the designer sought to honor the lasting impact of V.G. Siddhartha Hegde and his pioneering contributions to the coffee culture, leaving a lasting tribute to his vision and entrepreneurial achievements.
