Amit Pandya – Jury Video – JDADA 2019

JD Annual Design Awards is around the corner, the JEDIIIANS have just done with their External Jury. Amit Pandya, a Jewellery Stylist and Choregrapher for CKC who was part of the Jury panel for Jewellery Department shares his experience about the collection.

Brief About the Theme

This year’s theme is Curator. We’re inspiring and guiding the design aspirants to become expert, obsessive and articulate curators of ideas you care about. The traditional definition of a curator is someone who takes care of a museum collection. The modern definition of a curator is someone who cares for something enough to study it, collect it, improve on it significantly and communicate it interestingly before an audience. A modern-day curator is a bridge between the idea he is passionate about and an audience eager to know more about the idea. He or she lives and breathes the cause. And the cause isn’t limited to the professional sphere. They actively live the philosophy. It enters all walks of life. That’s why they get the most creative, innovative and resonant ideas.

About Amit Pandya

The head Jewellery Stylist for CKC who has 11 years of experience in this field and has styled famous celebrities. 

With the FLARE in STYLE, AMIT PANDYA a MBA with HR Specialisation followed his instinct to pursue the career as professional Jewellery stylist and Fashion Choreographer.

He participated as a stylist for Mrs. INDIA at  Mrs. Universe Pageant 2016 held at Guangzhou, China and made INDIA proud by being nominated to Top 15. (mva.la)

Taking forward his huge passion for styling, he has  worked with the renowned Choreographers Like Prasad Bidappa, Achla Sachdeva,MS sreedhar,Sheetal Sharma and Designers like Bibhu Mohapatra,Tarun Tahiliani,Suneet Verma, Ramesh Dembla,Sagar Denali, Aslam Khan and Ashok Maanay. He has also worked with celebrities like Soha Ali khan, Tapsee panu,Gauhar Khan, and  Parul Agarwal.

With the Phenomenal 11 years of experience in Fashion and Jewellery industry, currently he is the head jewellery stylist for C. Krishniah Chetty and sons (CKC).CKC is a renowned jewellery company since decades and carries the legacy of 145 years.
