The Dear Diary collection captures the essence and beauty of Telugu wedding rituals by merging intricate Kalamkari storytelling motifs with the sustainability of plant-based Eucalyptus silk relating to the “FUTURE FICTION”.This collection aims to pass on, preserving our traditions, rituals, and cultures to future generations, keeping given our fading traditions. Here the garments in the collection are designed using eucalyptus silk, which involves no himsa of the living species. We have designed in such a way that the wedding outfits would have gone longer with the replacement of animal-based silk, with the equal richness, breathability and sustainability, drap ability and other properties of the fabric. Creating a timeless collection that adorns the wearer and also serves as a cultural artefact, preserving and promoting the rich traditions of Telugu weddings for future generations. We have designed in such a way that the wedding outfits would have gone longer with the replacement of animal-based silk, with the equal richness, breathability and sustainability, drap ability and other properties of the fabric.
