Dattebayo, designed by Priya George and Prejinda P R, students of Advanced Diploma in Fashion Design from JD Institute of Fashion Technology for JD Design Awards pays tribute to anime Naruto by Masashi Kishimoto. The collection was based on the anime Naruto wherein the fashion designers made specific designs for 10  characters such as Naruto, Itachi, Sasuke, Minato, Gaara, Jiraya, Kakashi, Madara, Might Guy, and Pain. 

The colour palette for Naruto anime characters was mostly composed of bright and bold colours. The fabric choices for the collection were scuba fabric, poplin cotton, twill and fur. Scuba fabric, is a type of stretchy knit fabric made from a blend of polyester and spandex, which gives it stretchy and flexible properties. This fabric is known for its smooth and sleek texture, and is often used to create form-fitting garments which helped us achieve the desired look. Poplin cotton is a type of cotton fabric that is tightly woven and has a fine ribbed texture. It is made from a blend of cotton and polyester or rayon, which gives it its crisp and smooth finish. Twill is a type of fabric that is woven with a pattern of diagonal parallel ribs. It is made from a variety of fibers, including cotton, wool, and silk. Twill fabrics are known for their durability, strength, and resistance to wrinkles and creases. Fur is a natural material that is made from the skin and hair of animals. It is often used to make clothing and accessories, and is also known for its warmth, softness, and luxurious texture, and is often associated with high-end fashion and luxury.  

The collection was designed for people who attend cosplay and celebrities who love anime. The costumes are the exact replica of the characters. Keeping in mind this generation’s fashion, the young fashion designers made kept the look very stylish.
