It is National Camera Day. All the focus is on cameras that focus on you. From the day you were born to probably the day you feel bored, cameras are used everywhere by everyone. There was a time when cameras were meant to be used by professional photographers only.

The purpose has shifted by 360* altogether. While cameras were a part of celebrations and special occasions, they have now evolved to become a significant part of everyday life. Cameras have shifted from the hands of professionals to the hands of amateurs as well in the form of handy phone cameras. Photography has truly been through the beats in years gone by just as much as the types of cameras in trend.

Various lenses and sensors have changed the phase of photography. For instance, a crop sensor is smaller than the standard 35 mm size and makes the edges of the photo crop for a tighter field of view. Additionally, the heterogeneous image sensors also impact the quality of images. Image sensor collects incoming light when the shutter opens and converts the light into an electrical signal.

1. Mirrorless cameras: Mirrorless cameras are a more compact form of DSLR cameras with the absence of an optical viewfinder present in DSLR cameras. Do not misinterpret the capability of these cameras because they are perfectly efficient to produce high-resolution images, some of them even better than hefty DSLR cameras.

2. DSLR Cameras: Digital SLR Cameras or DSLR Cameras as they are popularly known as are currently the most widely used cameras in use. DSLR cameras are noteworthy the profound type of camera largely used by photographers and videographers across the globe. Ignoring the exorbitant price, DSLR cameras offer numerous choices of body and lens along and provide sharp images of high resolution.

3. Point and shoot cameras: Also known as compact digital cameras, point and shoot cameras are suitable for simple operations like clicking family or vacation pictures. These cameras are not recommended for hardcore photographers as they come with a fixed lens. Therefore, point and shoot cameras are suitable for documentary purposes.

4. Polaroid cameras:  Known by the name of the company that introduced these cameras, polaroid cameras are instant cameras capable of printing photos right after capturing the image. These cameras come in vibrant colors making them an attractive choice for millennials.

5. 360-degree cameras: If the idea of 360-degree photos delights you, you should be interested in buying 360-degree cameras. With these cameras, you can capture breathtaking 360-degree photos in a single go.
