1. Baking soda

4. Rubber gloves 

If you have rubber gloves, they can come in handy to get rid of pet hair. Put on a pair of rubber gloves and start rubbing the surface of the carpet rigorously. You will see cat hair will leave the carpet and come on to your rubber gloves.

5. Fabric softener

If you do not wish to try the tips we gave, a fabric softener used to wash clothes can also be used for cleaning pet hair. Take one-third of the fabric softener and add it to a bucket of warm water. Mix the solution well and add it into a spraying bottle. Spray the solution on the hair stuck places on the carpet. After the carpet turns moist, take a vacuum cleaner and start cleaning the carpet.
